The Peggy Enos-Edu Dialysis Fund
About ThePeggyFund
The Peggy Enos-Edu Dialysis Fund was set up in May 2019 to help finance individuals facing financial difficulties while on dialysis. Our aim to help our beneficiaries through some of life's rough patches.

There is currently no cure for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). For many who can either not afford a transplant or do not yet have a donor, dialysis is the next best lifeline, however it comes at a financial cost. Each session costs anywhere from 250 to 400 GHC.
About Peggy
Peggy always dreamt and lived a life centred around helping the less fortunate. After being diagnosed with chronic renal failure in 2014, she witnessed the hardships of those who had to forgo treatments solely due to a lack of finances. Lives were put at risk and in some instances, died. This should not be.

The Peggy Enos-Edu Dialysis Fund was born out of the memory and legacy of our mother, Mrs. Peggy Enos-Edu. With a big heart and a love of humanity, she cared for those less fortunate and those with a desire to live.
We want to continue her legacy by partnering up with various hospitals in Ghana and providing financial support for those who cannot afford dialysis care. And also educate Ghanaians on kidney failure and general knowledge.
